Return & Refund Policy

At SDCPRINTS.COM, we specialize in custom-printed products created specifically for each client. Every item is made-to-order based on client-submitted artwork or custom design requests developed through our design team.

Proof Approval Process

To ensure accuracy and client satisfaction, we follow a strict proof approval process:

  • Clients are required to review and approve a digital proof prior to production.

  • Once a proof is approved, it is considered final, and the job will proceed to production exactly as approved.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to thoroughly review all proofs, including design elements, spelling, colors, layout, and sizing.

  • For projects where print-ready artwork is supplied by the client and a proof layout or mock-up is required for placement or sizing, a minimum proofing fee of $75 applies.
    This fee covers light setup and visual mock-up preparation and is billed at the standard design rate of $400 per hour beyond that minimum.
    Refunds issued prior to production will exclude any proofing or design time incurred.
    Design time fees cover time spent on setup and proofing only and do not transfer any image rights.

Custom Production Policy

All orders are printed only after proof approval and are considered custom-made to the client's specifications. As a result:

  • Returns and refunds are not accepted for approved orders.

  • We do not offer cancellations or changes once production has started.

  • By approving the proof, the client confirms that all information and design details are correct and grants permission to proceed with production.


Reprints and Damaged Items

While we take great care in our production process, if an item is damaged during printing or production error occurs on our end, we will:

  • Issue a reprint of the affected items at no additional cost

  • Require photographic evidence and a description of the issue within 5 business days of delivery

Please note: Reprints will only be issued for errors made by SDCPRINTS.COM during production — not for client errors in submitted artwork or approved proofs.


Proof Verification and Quality Control

Before any order is printed, our team:

  • Reviews the final proof for print-readiness

  • Ensures files meet production standards

  • Confirms materials and imprint methods align with the order specifications

This multi-step process is designed to prevent mistakes and ensure client satisfaction.
